Dunwoody is one of the more affluent areas of the metro area and is located in the northern portion of Dekalb County near the “top end of I-285,” which encircles the metro Atlanta area   The popular Perimeter Mall is the mainstay of retail shopping and a number of great restaurants abound in the area for the more than 30,000 who call Dunwoody home.

In addition to the shopping and dining opportunities, other outlets for exploration and fun include the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area, and the Dunwoody Nature Preserve.
